ARSGA Client Liaison Shirley Sorohan is an expert in client benefits administration. Her knowledge and expertise cover more than five decades in the union benefits industry.

As a no-charge service to ARSGA clients, one of Shirley’s roles is to work with unions, employers, and participants (union members) to help union members with a smooth transition of benefits in preparation for retirement. Shirley assists our clients with numerous benefit-related tasks, including conversion from an active group plan to enrollment with Social Security and Medicare.

Due to restructuring and buys, Shirley has continued to work closely with IBEW 613 members and staff since 1984 to present. Before joining ARSGA in July 2018, Shirley was with NEBA (National Employee Benefits Administration) from 2014-2018.

Originally from Macon, GA, Shirley attended John Marshall Law and Business School. She began her long-time career as a Third-Party Administrator with Continental Insurance Company.

Shirley lives in Alpharetta, GA with her husband, Bob, and their beloved dogs Max, Brody, and Sadie.

Mindy Boggs is co-owner of American Retirement Solutions of Georgia with her husband, Larry Boggs.

Over the years, Mindy has served in various roles regarding client services, marketing, and as an advisor.

In her current role as Director of Insurance, Mindy provides solutions to clients’ insurance needs and oversees insurance application processing.

Mindy earned her BFA from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. She and her husband met in Memphis, TN, in 1983. They lived in Jackson, MS for 17 years and Birmingham, AL for 13 years before moving permanently to Atlanta in 2015. Mindy enjoys the outdoors, the arts, reading, volunteering, and spending time with her family.  She was born and raised in Helena, AR.
